The position requires expertise in Jira workflows, ClearCase, Git, release management, and integration with Land-Based Test Sites (LBTS) and customer environments. This position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and is 100% on-site in Marlboro, MA.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Baseline Management:
<ul>
<li>Oversee the development, integration, and maintenance of naval software and firmware baselines for radar systems.</li>
<li>Ensure proper configuration control, versioning, and release tracking of software/hardware/firmware baselines.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Jira Processes:
<ul>
<li>Manage and maintain Jira workflows for tracking software development, defect resolution, and feature requests.</li>
<li>Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely updates in Jira.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>ClearCase and Git Management:
<ul>
<li>Administer and manage ClearCase and Git repositories to maintain proper version control and branching strategies.</li>
<li>Develop and enforce best practices for source code management, including branching, merging, and tagging workflows.</li>
<li>Support developers with repository setup, troubleshooting, and process adherence.</li>
<li>Migrate and integrate legacy ClearCase repositories to Git, as required.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Field Bulletins and SVDs:
<ul>
<li>Author and oversee the release of Field Bulletins to communicate critical software updates or fixes.</li>
<li>Develop and distribute Software Version Descriptions (SVDs) to document baseline changes and enhancements.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Integration and Delivery:
<ul>
<li>Coordinate the release of software baselines to LBTS for testing and validation.</li>
<li>Collaborate with customers to deliver software updates and provide technical support during integration.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Collaboration and Communication:
<ul>
<li>Work closely with software developers, system engineers, and program managers to meet project milestones and quality standards.</li>
<li>Act as the primary point of contact for baseline-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>This position requires an Active Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is required.</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in software development, baseline management, or related roles. We will consider candidates with varying levels of experience.</li>
<li>Expertise in Jira and related agile project management tools.</li>
<li>Experience with radar systems or other mission-critical software applications.</li>
<li>Familiarity with configuration management tools and practices.</li>
<li>Knowledge of LBTS environments, system testing, and field deployment processes.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>
</ul>
Desired Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.</li>
<li>Knowledge of DoD software development lifecycle and documentation standards.</li>
<li>Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Configuration Management.</li>
</ul>
Salary Range:
The annual salary range for this position is $140,000 - $250,000 USD. The final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's education, experience, skills, certifications, and other relevant qualifications, as well as applicable client or government contractual rates.
