The client is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in IoT, and they need a dynamic leader to spearhead the development of next-generation devices. As the Senior Director of Embedded Systems Engineering, you’ll be the driving force behind a team of brilliant minds. Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Craft and execute a game-changing software and firmware development roadmap
Build the infrastructure that will support rapid, high-quality releases
Mentor and guide a team of top-tier firmware and embedded software engineers
Collaborate with Hardware Engineering to bring cutting-edge designs to life. Choose components with suitable I/O and features that meet customer requirements.
Establish best-in-class workflows and quality assurance methodologies
Partner with hardware teams to select components that exceed customer expectations
Oversee documentation, including software/firmware release notes and procedures (using tools like JIRA). Keeps your team running like a well-oiled machine.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (Advanced degree? Even better!)
12+ years of battle-tested experience in embedded software/firmware engineering
4+ years of leadership experience, guiding teams through successful product deployments
A proven track record in Agile methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement
The ability to juggle multiple high-stakes projects without breaking a sweat
