ELC Education Coordinator

Position Summary: The Education Coordinator of the Early Learning Center (ELC) works under the supervision of the ELC Director to implement, evaluate and ensure a culturally and developmentally age appropriate programs for all children in the ELC program at Family Access. The Education Coordinator works with the ELC Leadership Team to ensure the overall educational quality of the program. This position conducts regular classroom observations, provides feedback to teaching teams, supports individual teachers to develop Individual Professional Development Plans (IPDP) and plans professional development opportunities. Collaborate with the ELC Leadership Team to ensure that all regulations and requirements for EEC state licensing and NAEYC Accreditation are met and maintained in the classrooms.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

Job Description Summary ABC LOL, LLC i s seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Infant Teacher to join our team. The Assistant Teacher will work alongside the Lead Infant Teacher to create a safe, engaged, and educational environment for infants (ages 0-12 months). Duties 
<ul>
<li>Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that support the physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of infants.</li>
<li>Support the Lead Teacher in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.</li>
<li>Supervise and engage infants during playtime, and activities.</li>
<li>Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where infants can explore, learn, and grow.</li>
<li>Follow all the center policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children’s needs and progress.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.</li>
<li>Assist with diapering, feedings, and other personal care needs as needed.</li>
</ul>
 Requirements 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent (required); fundamentals or a 3-credit college course or being willing to complete within 1 year of hire.</li>
<li>Experience working with infants in a childcare or early education setting is preferred but will train the right person.</li>
<li>Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate care practices.</li>
<li>Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with infants.</li>
<li>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.</li>
<li>Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).</li>
<li>Complete VT Orientation upon hire</li>
<li>Mandated Reporting upon hire </li>
<li>Civil Rights training upon hire </li>
<li>Background check and fingerprint clearance (required).</li>
