PathWays has been providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Sullivan and Lower Grafton Counties in NH for over 50 years and we provide services starting at age 0 through adulthood. Our Family-Centered Early Support and Services (FCESS) group focuses on little ones from 0 to 3 years of age. Because we are a human services organization, our positions are year-round, unlike a school district in most cases. While intake and evaluations are conducted mainly at our Claremont office, most of the work for the FCESS team is performed at the family's home and mileage is reimbursable. This position is the only one that has the requirement of playing on the floor with kids!
In the FCESS program, the Early Childhood Educator provides developmental services for children under the age of three (3). Your responsibilities will include assessments of delays in areas such as motor, communication, cognition, social/emotional, and self-help skills as well as providing direct support and service coordination for children and their families. In this role, you will maintain direct service for a designated number of children, writing and keeping current case notes and files as well as participate in weekly team meetings and all scheduled in-service transdisciplinary meetings. You will participate in a transdisciplinary assessment and evaluation of designated children using a designated assessment tool and act as the liaison between children, families, and local community agencies to provide support for families. You will coordinate 6-month reviews, annual evaluations, and new IFSPs for all assigned children. You will secure all necessary releases and consents as well as updated medical information and family changes that may affect a child's development.
Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt, Reports to FCESS Director, Hybrid work is a built-in part of the job. This position may work from our Claremont office or Lebanon office with a weekly meeting in Claremont.
 
Qualifications for the position:

This full-time position pays $20.00 - $20.50 per hour (based on qualifications/education) paid bi-weekly on Wednesday. Duties All of our teaching staff are responsible for upholding state and school policies as well as maintaining classroom/school cleanliness and organization. Assistant Teachers help with delivering age appropriate curriculum as directed from their Lead Teacher, and contribute to the development of age-appropriate curriculum as they are ready or interested. Assistant Teachers will have some communication with parents about their children during drop off and pick up times, and so a professional and cheerful disposition is a must. And of course, all teachers are responsible for providing loving care to the children in our school! The Float Teacher position is a bit unique in that it also includes completing tasks outside of classrooms that ensure that our school as a whole functions smoothly, and continues to be clean, organized, and inviting for children and families. A teacher in this position will also assist with the breaking of other teaching staff, as well as assisting in classrooms when Lead Teachers need to take time away for curriculum planning and/or assessments. Paid Professional Development - Each employee will receive up to 15 paid hours of professional development each year. Paid Volunteer Time - each full-time staff member is entitled to 2 paid volunteer days each year. Roving Holiday - Each full-time employee is entitled to one paid holiday of their choosing each year. Cash Bonuses - At 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of service employees receive additional hourly pay rate bonuses. Referral Program - Each employee is entitled to $350.00 for each new client or staff member that we sign on due to their referral (conditions apply). Discounted Child Care Tuition - Full-time employees with children at FrogToad receive a 50% discount on services (restrictions apply). Paid Travel - For traveling that occurs outside of normal commute to and from work (ex. training held outside of Chittenden County) Healthy Lifestyle - each full-time employee is entitled to $100.00 annually for things like (new sneakers, state park passes, fishing license, massage etc) Telehealth and Teletherapy - Each full-time employee is entitled to this benefit that works with or without other health related insurance.
