What you’ll do on a typical day:
<ul>
<li>Perform inspection of machine parts and castings utilizing various inspection techniques and equipment to assure functional performance according to drawing specifications</li>
<li>Receiving Inspection and test of incoming material received at other sites</li>
<li>Provide validation and disposition of actual defects for both Hardware and Documentation Quality Notifications (QN).&nbsp;</li>
<li>Participate in cause and corrective actions to alleviate production difficulties</li>
</ul>
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
<ul>
<li>Extensive experience with Open Setups to inspect orientation, location and form.</li>
<li>Extensive experience&nbsp;with blueprints, MIL-STDs, technical procedures, specifications, standards, and other engineering and manufacturing documents</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word</li>
<li>Strong reading, writing, verbal and presentation skills for interaction at various levels of management and within the organization.</li>
<li>Ability to work within a technical environment developing/implementing practical solutions to a range of challenges in quality systems, process control, and materials</li>
<li>Incoming and/or Production Inspection</li>
<li>Have interpersonal skills and ability to work well with employees, teammates, and customers</li>
<li>Effective written and verbal communication skills that allow for proper and precise result descriptions</li>
<li>Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type&nbsp;systems such as SAP (PRISM)</li>
<li>Candidate should have a strong desire for safety and security</li>
<li>Must be able to support on weekends and extended hours on a surge basis.</li>
<li>Ability to perform job assignments with little to no assistance.</li>

Shift: 1st Shift,&nbsp;Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM -&nbsp; 3:30 PM&nbsp;
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assembler 1 is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.
<ul>
<li>Ability to perform repetitive work while paying attention to detail</li>
<li>Identify and segregate Non-Conforming Product</li>
<li>Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers</li>
<li>Ability to train other/new associates</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist</li>
<li>Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards</li>
<li>Assemble and fabricate product using company-supplied hand and power tools</li>
