Family Law Litigation Paralegal

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Litigation Paralegal - Family Law- Onsite- Salary up to $95K&nbsp; An outstanding boutique law firm specializing in family law, trust, wills, and estates is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with prior family law experience. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience as a family law litigation paralegal.&nbsp;Job requirements include strong writing and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to carry out multiple tasks at once and meet and exceed deadlines.&nbsp;&nbsp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist attorneys in all phases of family law litigation, including divorce, child custody, property settlements and marital agreements</li>
<li>Communicate with the Court, with Opposing Counsel, with Clients, and with Experts on behalf of attorneys</li>
<li>Organize and maintain clients’ electronic files</li>
<li>Conduct legal research, maintain attorney calendars, and stay on top of court deadlines</li>
<li>Serve as a liaison between the client and the attorneys</li>
<li>Draft legal forms and pleadings</li>
<li>Arrange court filings&nbsp;</li>
<li>Assist with discovery, including document collections, document reviews, and document productions</li>
<li>Help attorneys prepare for trials, depositions, MSCs, and hearings by creating the necessary pleadings, trial notes, and exhibit binders</li>
<li>Prepare&nbsp;and revise&nbsp;pleadings and other documents filed with the court. Solid understanding&nbsp;of the filing process, including manual filings and any e-filing process the court may require. </li>
<li>Must have Financial Statement experience and Child Support guideline experience</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree, as well as a paralegal certificate, preferred</li>
<li>Experience with high-asset cases and familiarity with the local rules and courts in Massachusetts</li>
<li>3+ years of family law or litigation experience preferred</li>
<li>Ability to work independently with little direction&nbsp;</li>
<li>Proficient in MS Office Suite software (Word, Excel, and Outlook)</li>
<li>Knowledge of complex billing&nbsp;</li>
<li>Strong professionalism, quality service, and a “can-do” attitude to internal members of the firm as well as external clients, both&nbsp;over the phone and in person </li>
