Westaff is seeking experienced reach truck operators for our client in Peabody MA!

Responsible for accurate picking and loading out of orders. Must be able to work the shift pattern as required by customer needs which could include overtime. Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Ensures that the correct number and type of product is picked. </li>
<li>Transports orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment. </li>
<li>Stencils, tags or marks orders as required.</li>
<li>Compares quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct. </li>
<li>Accepts signatures for outbound as necessary. </li>
<li>Efficiently moves product into outbound delivery vehicles.</li>
<li>Maintains equipment and assigned areas in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. </li>
<li>Operates equipment safely and efficiently.</li>
<li>Complies with all local, OSHA or standards.</li>
<li>Keeps accurate records and reports. </li>
<li>Assists in physical inventories and cycle counts.</li>
<li>Ensures proper stock rotation. </li>
<li>Keeps all racking locations clean, free of debris, and stacks freight safely and per all OSHA standards</li>
<li>Repacks or re-boxes cases per customer instructions. </li>
<li>Repairs and re-boxes damaged goods as required.</li>
<li>Operates shrink-wrap machine if assigned.</li>
<li>Can utilize RF scanning gun or basic warehouse and shipping software.</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Education (preferred level) high school degree.</li>
<li>Experience (minimum level of direct experience in a similar position) 12 months or more.</li>
<li>Knowledge/ Skills: Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, divide, multiply) and write legibly.</li>
<li>Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods.</li>
<li>MUST have Forklift experience with cherry picker and turret truck.</li>
<li>Cannot be afraid of heights</li>
