Markley Properties is looking to add a highly skilled roofer to the team. This person will be responsible for in-house roofing projects which fall under the roofing scope of work. Items may or may not include roof maintenance, roof repairs, new roofing assemblies, etc. The Roofing Mechanic will work with direction from the Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager and or the Roofing Supervisor. This position will also be responsible for assisting with daily routine maintenance and upkeep of the building.
 
This person is required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and snow/rainstorms if needed. Shifts sometimes vary depending on company events, tenant tours, and projects. This position is required to work in Lowell to support internal/external projects when needed.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Work with Property Manager/Assistant Property Manager/Roofing Supervisor to promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectifying job site hazards immediately.</li>
<li> Ability to install different types of roofing systems such as TPO, Sarnafil, PVC, and EPDM rubber roofs.</li>
<li> Ability to comprehend, construct, and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and shop drawings for the task being done. </li>
<li>Snow removal on all roofs when needed.</li>
<li>Proficient in the safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.)</li>
<li>Understands and abides by OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices.</li>
<li>Able to work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks.</li>
<li>Able to climb and operate on ladders, able to lift at least 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Position requires a valid drivers license and acceptable background check per company standards</li>
<li>Responsible for information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Markley Group information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.</li>

Job Overview Were seeking AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWIs) to support our growing pipeline of infrastructure and structural projects. In this role, you'll perform inspections across NY/NJ job sites and contribute to the ongoing development of welding quality assurance processes at AEIS. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
 
Quality Assurance &amp; Inspection 
<ul>
<li>Perform visual and destructive weld inspections to ensure compliance with AWS D1.1/D1.5, ASME, and DOT standards.</li>
<li>Monitor welding operations and ensure procedures and personnel are qualified.</li>
<li>Identify and document weld defects and non-conformities.</li>
<li>Conduct MT and UT inspections where certified. </li>
</ul>
 
Documentation &amp; Reporting
<ul>
<li>Maintain accurate inspection records and generate professional reports using our proprietary software, designed to report welding and NDT inspections.</li>
<li>Verify and review WPSs, PQRs, and Welder Certifications.</li>
<li>Contribute to quality documentation systems.</li>
<li>Collaboration &amp; Process Improvement</li>
<li>Work closely with project managers, welding engineers, and NDT staff.</li>
<li>Participate in process optimization reviews and corrective action reports. </li>
</ul>
 
Essential Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>AWS CWI Certification (Active)</li>
<li>110 years of hands-on structural welding inspection experience</li>
<li>Strong communication skills in English (spoken &amp; written)</li>
<li>Basic math and technical documentation skills</li>
<li>Ability to interpret engineering drawings and construction plans</li>
<li>Willingness to travel to project sites throughout NY and NJ </li>
</ul>
 
Preferred Skills
<ul>
<li>MT and UT certifications (Level I/II)</li>
<li>Experience with bolting inspections</li>
<li>Familiarity with ASME standards</li>
