What You’ll Do

<li>Complete all general HVAC in-home service calls</li>
<li>Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services</li>
<li>Ask proper lifestyle questions to troubleshoot heating and cooling system malfunction</li>
<li>Diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions</li>
<li>Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans</li>
<li>Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems</li>
<li>Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals</li>
<li>Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business</li>

Requirements of our next HVAC Service Technician

<li>You have an EPA Universal Certification (required), and an Oil Burner license is a plus!</li>
<li>Have minimally 3 years of residential HVAC Service Technician experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of local HVAC codes and ability to make on-the-job applications</li>
<li>Develop proven track record in heating and cooling systems including ability to draw simple diagrams, read blue prints and other diagrams</li>
<li>Continued education and training to obtain NATE certification&nbsp;</li>
<li>Experience using a CRM System, ServiceTitan is a plus!</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities</li>
<li>High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections</li>

We provide complete foodservice equipment maintenance and repair services for restaurants, QSRs, convenience stores, retailers, coffee shops, and concessions operations, specializing in commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. The Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Technician is responsible for operating a company vehicle to and from customer sites to troubleshoot, maintain and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. To be a successful Commercial HVAC/R Technician, you should be able to work independently, possess strong technical and troubleshooting skills and be an expert in customer service.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
<ul>
<li>Troubleshoots and repairs commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment</li>
<li>Inspects the commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment and their related components to ensure safe operation.</li>
<li>Communicates with customer and branch staff regarding status of repairs to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with customers.</li>
<li>Completes service tickets according to procedures.</li>
<li>Tracks truck stock to ensure needed parts are stocked on vehicle.</li>
<li>Sustains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards.</li>
<li>Sets a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by being a Company advocate.</li>
<li>Follows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety.</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:

<li>Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record</li>
<li>3-5 years of related experience.</li>
<li>Superb customer service skills</li>
<li>Dependable and able to work independently</li>
<li>Standard computer skills</li>
<li>Own industry’s standard hand tools</li>
