Education

Basic Qualifications

<li>Strong understanding of and commitment to BAGLYs mission and values.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of the current and emerging health needs of LGBTQ+ youth and experience applying risk- and harm-reduction frameworks.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success in developing, implementing, managing, and evaluating community-based public health programs (3 years minimum).</li>
<li>Demonstrated success growing or scaling programs, including launching new activities and services.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience writing program or activity proposals or logic models.</li>
<li>Demonstrated supervisory experience (e.g., full-time staff, part-time staff, contractors, interns, volunteers, youth).</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to manage work plans, budgets, and grants or contracts.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success with projects or tasks that require attention to detail.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with data monitoring and evaluation, and commitment to continuous quality improvement.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success in building community partnerships or referral networks.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to build supportive relationships with youth and/or young adults, including youth experiencing complex challenges.</li>

Advanced Qualifications

<li>Highly relevant degree such as MSW, MPH, or similar degree.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success managing LGBTQ+ youth sexual and/or behavioral health programs or providing direct care.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success writing an annual work plan and creating a program budget.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success designing and implementing new data monitoring and evaluation systems and strategies (e.g., pre/post surveys, client satisfaction surveys).</li>
<li>Demonstrated success writing grant or contract applications and reports.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success developing curriculum or workshops.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success facilitating effective trainings, workshops, and meetings.</li>
<li>Fluency in one or more languages other than English.</li>

Budgeted Annual Salary Range
$65,000 - $70,000
 
The starting salary will be determined based on how many basic and advanced qualifications are demonstrated.

Show us your coldest stare or wicked talent, and we’ll bring you to the dark side as a zombie, ghoul, or thing that dwells in the undrained parts of our water park. You’ll enjoy an endless supply of amazing perks that are to die for!
Positions will start training in August, and start working in mid-September.&nbsp;
