The Direct Support Professional (DSP) will assist individuals with brain injuries, disabilities, and mental health conditions in their daily activities, support community integration, and provide ongoing care. Daily responsibilities may include offering personal care and fostering meaningful interpersonal connections. Responsibilities * Provide personalized, one-on-one in-home services to individual(s). *Support individuals in everyday activities at home and in the community, helping them build skills and confidence. *Assist with grocery shopping, doctor's appointments, and other outings, providing transportation and companionship. *Collaborate with individuals to implement support strategies that align with their interests and personal goals, including physical activities and community engagement. *Aid individuals in completing housing applications and accessing government assistance programs. *Help with monthly budgeting and effective household management for daily necessities. *Complete and submit accurate daily progress notes to track each individual's growth and development. Summary: The Direct Support Professional 3 will support and assist in Level 3 residential programs. Staff will help individuals who need daily intervention, supervision, and skills training in activities of daily living while managing within a home environment and in the community. Individuals may require moderate physical assistance or accommodation. Staff will receive and must pass specialized training to provide enhanced supervision or interventions designed to address multiple disabilities, including behavioral support or enhanced medical care.
Schedule: Tuesday 5:00PM-10:00PM, Wednesday 3:00PM-11:00PM, Thursday and Friday 5:00PM -10:00PM, Saturday 5:00PM-11:00PM (29 Hours) 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Provide support and assist individuals with skills training in all activities of daily living.</li>
<li>Create opportunities and provide support to individuals to make decisions to develop their skills and foster independence. </li>
<li>Provide services to individuals according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Provide support and assist individuals with all medical, clinical, and financial needs.</li>
<li>Transport and accompany individuals as needed to and from medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.</li>
<li>Maintain required documentation according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Assist individuals with accessing resources and recreational opportunities in the community.</li>
<li>Administer medications according to MAP regulations, as applicable.</li>
<li>Maintain core training certifications including FA/CPR, PABC, and MAP.</li>
<li>Maintain additional mandated certifications and training as required by the program.</li>
<li>Develop positive relationships with guardians, family members, and other stakeholders.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

Required Education/Experience:
<ol>
<li>Must have a high school diploma or GED - Associate's Degree or DSP Certification Preferred.</li>
<li>A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.</li>
</ol>
Required Skills/Knowledge:
<ol>
<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills so that the writing of required documents is clear and articulate.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Valid driver's license and minimum of one year of driving experience.</li>
<li>Computer literacy includes the ability to use proficiently Microsoft products and web-based applications used by the agency.</li>
