Job Description 
We are seeking a&nbsp;Protein Characterization Specialist&nbsp;to support analytical development and bioprocess characterization efforts for protein-based therapeutics. This role requires hands-on expertise in protein chemistry, chromatography, and analytical instrumentation to generate high-quality data supporting early-phase clinical development.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform protein characterization using a variety of analytical techniques including&nbsp;UPLC/HPLC&nbsp;(SEC, HIC, IEX, Affinity),&nbsp;Octet,&nbsp;SDS-PAGE, and&nbsp;ELISA.</li>
<li>Support&nbsp;protein purification&nbsp;and&nbsp;chromatography&nbsp;at the lab scale to evaluate process intermediates and final products.</li>
<li>Apply a strong understanding of&nbsp;separation sciences&nbsp;and&nbsp;spectroscopic techniques&nbsp;to monitor and optimize protein purification processes.</li>
<li>Utilize software such as&nbsp;Empower&nbsp;and/or&nbsp;ChemStation&nbsp;for instrument control and data analysis.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in&nbsp;electronic lab notebooks (ELNs)&nbsp;and databases in accordance with&nbsp;Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).</li>
<li>Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality analytical data in support of product development and process optimization.</li>
<li>Lead or assist in the&nbsp;calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting&nbsp;of laboratory instruments and coordinate with vendors as needed.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>BS&nbsp;in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 2-3 years&nbsp;of relevant experience, or&nbsp;MS&nbsp;with 1-2&nbsp;years.</li>
<li>Strong hands-on experience with&nbsp;HPLC/UPLC,&nbsp;Octet,&nbsp;SDS-PAGE,&nbsp;ELISA, and&nbsp;protein purification&nbsp;techniques.</li>
<li>Familiarity with&nbsp;Empower&nbsp;and/or&nbsp;ChemStation&nbsp;is strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to generate reproducible data and follow established protocols in a regulated lab environment.</li>
<li>Proficiency in&nbsp;Microsoft Office&nbsp;and data analysis tools.</li>
<li>Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.</li>
<li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.</li>
