General Summary
Failure Analysis technician to perform debug, fault isolation, and root cause analysis of prototype and production devices.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Perform electrical verification and fault isolation on highly complex ICs (Analog, Digital, ASICs, Microprocessors, etc.) in package, die, or wafer form to determine the failure mechanism. Basic understanding of FA tools with regular supervision and moderate to high levels of oversight.</li>
<li>Replicate ATE test data on the manual FA bench using ATE datalogs, product datasheets, curve tracers, parametric analyzers, AC/DC test equipment, and collaborate with product and test engineers. Works on basic routine assignments with quality mindset.</li>
<li>Ability to gather and interpret PEM (photon emission microscopy) and Thermal hot spot data and drive to the correct failure location using optical layout photos or CAD assisted design data. </li>
<li>Perform material characterization of the failure mechanism (SAM, X-ray, SEM, EDS, x-sections, etc.) to assist with root cause analysis.</li>
<li>Perform decapsulation of various packages including hermetic and plastic molded packages utilizing various techniques such as chemical, laser and mechanical methods. </li>
<li>Perform deprocessing of die or wafers using a combination of chemical, mechanical or RIE etching. Must be able to work with caution and safety in mind while working with chemicals and physical de-processing with an attention to detail. </li>

Requirements:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

<li>Advanced machine tool knowledge and terminology.</li>
<li>3 or more years of experience in machine tool field service.</li>
<li>Associates degree in electronic engineering or related field of study--experience may be substituted for the education.</li>

Job Description
To support customers with (but not limited to) Amada Punch Presses in Lowell/Lawrence, MA territory. This includes installation, service, operational training, networking, programming training, software training, application training, and laser automation training. The duties are not exclusive of performing the same functions for Punch Press and combination machines, including automated material loading/unloading machines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
<ul>
<li>Proficient in trouble shooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems as well as networks.</li>
<li>Able to precisely follow layout drawings and blue prints used in the installation of equipment.</li>
<li>Complete status (service) reports on a daily basis and expense reports on a weekly basis.</li>
<li>The ability to communicate in the English language.</li>
<li>Excellent customer relations and follow through.</li>
<li>Managing the total equipment installation process at Customer site entailing use of hand tools, climbing, bending, stooping.</li>
<li>Operation, applications, software, and part programming capabilities, and customer training of such.</li>
<li>Use of Amada applications software used in line control and part programming.</li>
<li>Regular travel within assigned territories.</li>

Job Description Summary: 
Field Service Technician will be assigned a truck and travel daily to customer job sites to repair and maintain equipment. This role requires experienced, responsible technicians who can diagnose and repair equipment working independently. The technician will troubleshoot/diagnose equipment problem and perform repair work on a wide variety of equipment.
<ul>
<li>Repair types can include: complete machine overhauls, minor repairs such as fixing leaks, changing fluids and filters, rebuild components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic pumps.</li>
<li>Diagnostics can include: check pressures, check voltage, locate source of noise or vibration.</li>
<li>Field Technician will disassemble machine, order parts, make repairs, assemble machine, check machine operation to make sure repairs are complete and confirm problem is fixed and is work ready.</li>
</ul>
Technician will use Anderson’s systems to document workorders, track progress of repairs and order parts. Focus on safety protocols and regulations must be maintained at all times.
Required Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent with a two year Technical degree or comparable military training;</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years work experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance;</li>
<li>Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of equipment operations, mechanical functions, electrical and hydraulic systems;</li>
<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with other technicians or independently, while out in the field;</li>
<li>Proficiency with computers and diagnostic programs provided by manufacturers.</li>
<li>Ownership of adequate hand tools.</li>
<li>Must have valid Driver’s License, CDL is preferred.</li>
</ul>

Compensation and Benefits:
