Purpose

<li>Associate’s preferred in a technical field</li>
<li>Minimum of eight (8) years in the electronics industries involving performance of machine and process development.</li>
<li>Must have strong communication and organization skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize; attention to detail is a must. </li>
<li>Must have excellent problem solving skills and possess good analytical, verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Experience with identifying and suggesting improvement opportunities.</li>
<li>Prefer solid technical experience in the printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) industry in a high-reliability environment; contract manufacturing experience a plus.</li>
<li>Experience should include working with all component types in SMT and Processes such as SMT Pick and Place, Solder rework, Thermal profiling, Automatic Optical Inspection, and X-Ray.</li>
<li>Experience with RoHS and familiar with IPC-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards.</li>
<li>Must demonstrate flexibility, self-direction, and self-discipline to plan and accomplish objectives and meet deadlines with limited supervision.</li>
<li>Exhibits a “Can-Do” attitude and actively seeks for solutions to problems; good team player with pleasant personality.</li>

Physical/Mental Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while operating and programming surface mount equipment.</li>
<li>Regularly moves within the manufacturing floor to provide technical support and address equipment or process issues.</li>
<li>Frequently operates and adjusts complex manufacturing equipment, including solder paste printers, AOI, AXI systems, and thermal profiling tools.</li>
<li>Occasionally positions self to access and troubleshoot machine components at various heights.</li>
<li>Communicates effectively with team members and operators to provide guidance, training, and resolve manufacturing challenges.</li>
<li>Occasionally moves and transports tools or materials weighing up to 25 pounds.</li>

As a Jr. Quality Engineer, you will contribute in the following areas:
<ul>
<li>Ensure an overall level of product quality in line with DEKA’s standards</li>
<li>Support and participate in development of complex electromechanical devices</li>
<li>Assist in the development, implementation&nbsp;and approval of Device Master Records and Device History Records</li>
<li>Attain a comprehensive understanding of device design and core technologies, leveraging this knowledge to drive investigations and improvements in product design and process.</li>
<li>Participate in investigations resulting in root cause and corrective actions through use of data analysis, inductive and deductive reasoning, and problem solving skills</li>
<li>Participate in Risk Management activities in accordance with ISO 14971:2019 such as FMEAs and Risk Analysis</li>
<li>Use critical thinking and analysis to determine the best approach and provide guidance on QMS, FDA Part 820, and ISO 13485 compliance to design team members</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Review and approve quality records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.</li>
</ul>
To be successful in this role as a Junior Quality Engineer, you will need the following skills:
<ul>
<li>BS or MS degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, or&nbsp;a related engineering/ Science discipline</li>
<li>Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team</li>
