About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Product specification of systems and conventional furniture</li>
<li>Create bill of materials; generate 2D/3D renderings and visuals Knowledge of accessibility codes</li>
<li>Prepare pricing proposals and bid documentation Conduct product research</li>
<li>Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes</li>
<li>Create detailed installation drawings</li>
<li>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, etc.</li>
<li>Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish solutions</li>
<li>Coordinate with Project Manager from start to finish</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
<ul>
<li>Open to entry, intermediate or senior level designers</li>
<li>1-3 years experience in commercial furniture dealership preferred</li>
<li>Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment</li>
<li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills</li>
<li> Strong communication skills, both verbal and written</li>
<li>Communicates easily and clearly</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently</li>
<li>Have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and be self-motivated</li>
<li>Proficient in current AutoCAD and CAP2020 software.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel)</li>
<li>Proficient in Adobe Acrobat DC</li>
<li>Ability to travel periodically for projects</li>
