About You
This is a mid- level mechanic position, and as such you are most likely a high school or technical school graduate that is preferably ASE certified in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance. You will also bring at least 3-5 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience to go along with it. You are a self-starter and have the ability to work with limited supervision. You possess core skills, such as mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics, diesel motors, welding, electrical systems, and PLC skills. You may also be recently separated from Military service and looking for an opportunity that will value your self-discipline and standards for safety and excellence. About the Role:
The Technician role is full time or part-time and is an hourly position based on needs of the business. The Technician is primarily responsible for conducting basic vehicle diagnostics and performing routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. · Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to properly identify required repairs.
· Consistently complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection process, on every guest vehicle, identifying, documenting, and communicating additional needed services and repairs; Audit courtesy inspections performed by the General Service Technicians
· Assist in inventory management to include pulling tires and parts, unloading and stocking inventory.
· Assist with all general store duties, ensuring the store is in excellent condition and maintained to Monro standards for cleanliness and consistently in guest ready condition.
· Consistently perform service(s) in accordance with Monro’s safety standards including but not limited to Monro’s Wheel Torque, Oil safety and compliance procedures

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Construction Equipment Painter &amp; Detailer with mechanical aptitude to join our team. This position is responsible for prepping, painting, detailing, and assisting with light mechanical work on a variety of heavy equipment, including tractors, excavators, loaders, and more. Ideal candidates will take pride in their work, have a strong eye for detail, and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
 Key Responsibilities:

<li>Prepare surfaces of construction equipment for painting (sanding, masking, cleaning)</li>
<li>Apply primers and paint using spray equipment and other tools</li>
<li>Detail equipment for resale or customer delivery (cleaning, polishing, touch-ups)</li>
<li>Inspect finished work for quality and completeness</li>
<li>Assist with light mechanical tasks such as replacing parts, fluids, or attachments</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area</li>
<li>Operate forklifts or equipment to move machines in and out of the shop (training provided if needed)</li>
<li>Perform basic maintenance on painting tools and spray equipment</li>
<li>Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times </li>

Responsible for the efficient, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of Guest’s vehicles, the Automotive Technician position is a great way to start your career at Monro.&nbsp;&nbsp;Starting day 1 you will begin a comprehensive Technician training program, covering all aspects of your new role, while preparing you for the next. As an Automotive Technician for Monro, you will be an essential team member, performing repair services on Guest vehicles. More importantly, you will be part of a team working together to deliver 5 Star Guest experiences, while using your Technician skills to take care of people, their cars and ensure our guests have safe, reliable transportation.

Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and all manner of automotive repairs and maintenance, that you are qualified to perform Secure our guests approval to perform the work as a result of the diagnosis; and always maintain a clean, neat work area Complete thorough automotive vehicle inspections on every vehicle you service and perform any repairs and maintenance Test drive guest vehicles and use our shop truck in a safe manner to pick up inventory as needed Collaborate with teammates and provide leadership to General Service Technicians

Automotive Technician - State Inspector

Job Description Description:
We are looking for a skilled, positive attitude mechanic to join our team at our Billerica, MA headquarters to perform maintenance and repairs on class 8 tractors, temperature control units, and trailers. In addition to typical equipment service such as PMs and tire replacements, the successful candidate must be willing to learn new technology: vehicle diagnostics, communication devices, and tablets.

Preferred Experience:
· High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
· Valid driver's license (CDL strongly preferred)
· 5+ years experience working as a diesel mechanic
· 5+ years hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic systems, and diagnostics experience
· Knowledge of Diagnostic tool system
· Experience working as a Mechanic on heavy commercial trucks and trailers
· Working knowledge of ThermoKing and Carrier temperature controlled units
· Experience with Tablets and App technology
· Familiarity with federal annual Inspection criteria
· Able to conduct inventory and order parts as needed

· Knowledge and experience with electrical and hydraulics
· Must have the ability to lift, push or pull 70+ pounds, climb heavy equipment, and bend, kneel, and work with arms raised for prolonged periods
· Must have strong communication and listening skills and be able to read, write and speak English
· Must be able to obtain a security clearance
