Math Teacher

MATH TEACHER FOR PRIVATE SCHOOL IN NEWPORT, NH Will teach three math courses a day to high school students. Will be responsible for preparing lesson plans, instruction, and behavioral support for the students in special education classrooms. Within 1 year, will pass Praxis 1 exam and 2 competency assessments. Will complete an individual professional Development Plan (IPDP) within 3 years of receiving a statement of eligibility for teaching. Will also pass the Praxis II in mathematics to receive teacher certification within 3 years of Statement of Eligibility. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and eligibility for certification or obtain statement of eligibility for alternative teacher certification within 1 yr which requires at least 30 credit hours in Math or education.
