Position Overview:
At Berlin City Auto Group, exceptional service starts with extraordinary people. As a Service Advisor, you'll play a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while helping to lead and support our service team. You'll work closely with customers to assess their vehicle needs, recommend appropriate services, and serve as the bridge between our customers, technicians, and service management team. This role requires the ability to oversee multiple brands, ensuring that every customer leaves confident in the service they've received.
What You'll Do:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, and accurately assess their vehicle service needs.
- Create detailed repair orders and document customer concerns, vehicle symptoms, and service recommendations.
- Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines for repairs using company software and tools.
- Communicate with customers throughout the service process, providing updates and answering questions in person and by phone.
- Coordinate closely with technicians, parts department, warranty administrators, and the Service Manager to ensure seamless workflow.
- Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure customer concerns have been fully addressed.
- Maintain detailed service and repair records by company and manufacturer standards.
What You'll Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in automotive service or repair advising; multi-brand experience is a plus
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening for illegal substances
