A specialized opportunity is available for a registered nurse with expertise in psychiatric care, particularly within a pediatric setting. This contract position requires a highly experienced RN comfortable working with children and adolescents facing complex mental health and co-occurring disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in a co-occurring disorders inpatient treatment program.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and implement individualized and group interventions.
- Utilize the nursing process to address the complex needs of patients, including those with substance use and mental health disorders.
- Provide clinical supervision to Mental Health Workers, ensuring safe and therapeutic care delivery.
- Support patients through medically assisted withdrawal, stabilization, and sustained recovery education.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with substantial psychiatric nursing experience, preferably within pediatric populations.
- Strong ability to manage care for patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders.
- Comfort and expertise in working with children and adolescents in an inpatient setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to start by January 5th, with no exceptions.

This role involves contract employment with a start date firmly set for January 5th. Candidates residing within 35 miles of the facility will be subject to specific considerations during the submission process.
