Assignment Duration: 13+ weeks with potential for permanent hire
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pharmacy Type: Closed-door, long-term care facility
Prescription Volume: Approximately 600 prescriptions per day
Software: Frameworks (training provided if needed)

Position Summary:
A professional long-term care pharmacy in Foxborough is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join their team. This role involves supporting daily operations in a high-volume, closed-door pharmacy. Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Package medications accurately in formats such as unit-dose or blister packs

• Assist with inventory tasks: ordering, receiving, stocking, and verifying expiration dates

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for both medications and patient records

• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure timely delivery of prescriptions

Schedule:

• Evening shifts available

• Rotational weekend coverage (one weekend per month)

Required Qualifications:

• Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License

• National certification through PTCB

• Previous pharmacy experience required (LTC or high-volume preferred)

• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure

• Willingness to learn Frameworks software if not already familiar

Pay Range:

• $21 to $23 per hour, depending on experience and certification level
