Location: White Plains, NY 10601
Start Date: December 29, 2025
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day/night (12 hours)
Weekly Hours: 34.5 hours per week

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides skilled, compassionate care to obstetric patients throughout the childbirth process. The RN will manage high- and low-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, assisting with labor, delivery, recovery, and neonatal care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Unit Details

Charting Systems: Meditech and GE

Patient Ratio: AWONN standards

Common Cases: C-sections (nurses scrub in), high-risk OB, mag patients, and fast-paced deliveries

Support: Scrub techs, in-house hospitalist coverage 3 nights/week, RT and pharmacy 24/7

Holiday Policy: Travelers do not work holidays

Floating: May assist in OB or nursery (no patient assignments)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience

Active RN license (New York State)

Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Strong high-risk OB and fast-paced environment experience

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

BSN (required by facility)
