TFed is looking for a motivated, detail oriented individual experienced in property management to assist in the maintenance of our branches in the New Bedford area. This is a full-time position with benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, and 401k. Role:Assist in the cleanliness and upkeep of Credit Union buildings and grounds in the New Bedford area. Perform a variety of routing cleaning and maintenance tasks not under contract to outside vendors. Assist departments in obtaining supplies and assist in providing a clean and safe environment for members and staff.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:E50%
Performances maintenance of buildings and grounds according to work order system and immediate needs as they arise. Includes light duty maintenance and may include heavy duty cleaning.
E25%Maintains adequate inventory of supplies and maintenance products used in all buildings.E5%
Communicates with managers regarding needed maintenance and repair of facilities; schedules visits with managers to performed scheduled maintenance and repair.

Responsible for HVAC systems and other building equipment systems being kept in proper working order and repaired when necessary.
E5%Responds to telephone and/or pages from staff for emergency assistance.E5%Assists Facilities Manager in ensuring security policy and procedure compliance.E5%
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:1.
Provide informed service and support to all members and associates.
2.
Maintain current knowledge of vendor contracts.
3.
Ensure adequate inventory is maintained to enable efficient day to day operations.
4.
Ensure HVAC systems and other building equipment systems are kept in proper working order and repaired when necessary.
5.Keep management informed of key operating issues affecting the facilities or department.6.
Develop recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements by monitoring trends in facilities maintenance products and pricing.
7.
Maintains current knowledge of Credit Union security policy and procedure, assisting in ensuring compliance.
Knowledge and Skills:ExperienceOne year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education
A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills
Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Other Skills
Good communication skills both written and oral.
