Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to join our team at Central Vermont Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to women and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and have a strong background in labor and delivery nursing, we encourage you to apply.
Required Skills
- Prior travel experience in labor and delivery
- Current BLS, NRP certifications
- ACLS, PALS (or PEARS), STABLE certifications preferred
- At least 1 year of labor and delivery experience
- 1 year of LDRP experience
- Epic experience from within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
- Experience as a baby nurse, initiating/being a part of neonatal resuscitations, assigning APGAR scores, and giving newborn medications post-delivery
Nice to Have Skills
- IVS experience
- Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and smart pumps
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- 1 year of clinical experience in labor and delivery or LDRP
Other Requirements
- Reliable transportation (personal vehicle or rental vehicle recommended)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have completed all employment gaps over 90 days
