We are looking for an experienced consultant with specialized expertise in jBase to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves evaluating and documenting existing database systems while providing strategic recommendations for future modernization.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and evaluate the current jBase database system to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Develop detailed documentation of system architecture, workflows, and configurations to ensure knowledge preservation.
• Assess potential risks, technical debt, and pain points within the existing database environment.
• Recommend actionable strategies for system modernization and overall improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system challenges and utilization patterns.
• Create comprehensive knowledge transfer materials to support team transitions and continuity.
• Explore opportunities for future modernization or migration projects based on organizational needs.
• Provide technical insights and support to ensure the smooth operation of the jBase system during the contract period.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Proven experience working with jBase.
- Demonstrated ability to document, analyze, and review complex legacy systems.
- Ability to communicate technical details clearly to both IT and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptable and sensitive to organizational transitions; able to work discreetly and professionally in environments facing team changes.
