Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available from February 10, 2025, through June 16, 2026, covering a leave of absence within an elementary school setting. This contract role is based onsite at an elementary school in southern New Hampshire, serving a caseload of elementary students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored special education instruction to elementary students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor and document student progress and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Special Education teaching license
- Active New Hampshire teaching license
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education
- Ability to work onsite full-time (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday)
Location:
- Elementary school in Plaistow, NH, serving students from the surrounding region
