A 13-week contract opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse, working primarily day shifts in a dynamic surgical environment. This role offers a schedule of four 10-hour shifts with a late shift rotation, supporting diverse surgical cases with a focus on orthopedic and neurological procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care in the operating room as both scrub and circulating nurse
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and communication
- Participate in holiday coverage rotations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years periods
- Adhere to established protocols and maintain compliance with licensing and certification standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years current experience in an operating room setting, including ortho and neuro cases
- Proficient in both scrub and circulating roles
- Experience using EPIC electronic medical records system
- Active New Hampshire state nursing license (compact license accepted)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association
