Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Special Education teaching opportunity supports elementary students during a leave of absence from February 10th, 2025 through June 16th, 2026. Located in the Sandown area of New Hampshire, this role focuses on providing tailored educational support within an elementary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to elementary students with special education needs
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with school staff and families
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and success
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent communication
Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Special Education teaching license required
- Active New Hampshire teaching license in good standing
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting preferred
- Ability to work onsite full time, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week
