Medicaid — Mass Health Crisis Attorney (Hybrid Remote Position)


We are looking for an experienced Elder Law Attorney to join our team in Worcester, MA. Candidates must have a valid Massachusetts Attorney's license to be considered. The candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities as well as the capacity to work cooperatively in a collaborative environment. Additionally, the successful applicant must be comfortable managing numerous tasks and meeting their deadlines. The position consists of Mentoring Associates and the Paralegal team.

Compensation:

$125,000 yearly plus bonus and benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients who are facing Long-term Care and preparing their Care Plan, including Mass Health Applications and Fair Hearing Representation.
  • Supervise, train, and Mentor Associates and Paralegals.
  • Draft and review revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and other estate planning documents.
  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and court decisions.
  • Oversee the workflow in the practice areas of Mass Health, Estate Planning, and Elder Law.
  • Draft and Review Mass Health Applications.
  • Create and review Irrevocable Living Trusts and Revocable Trusts together with Estate Planning documents.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a legally recognized law degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid Massachusetts Bar License.
  • Excellent public speaking skills.
  • Outstanding research, analysis, and writing capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Knowledge of Wealth Counsel and Elder Counsel is an advantage.
