Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity exists for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Gardner, MA. This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week during the school year, focusing on supporting students communication needs in an onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
- Provide teletherapy services as needed, supporting a flexible and comprehensive approach to intervention
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Ability to deliver services via teletherapy is an asset
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Strong communication and organizational skills in a school environment
