We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented full-time Maintenance Technician to join our property management department.
Job Description:
- Complete assigned work orders generated from resident requests, as well as preventative maintenance on Residential + Commercial properties.
- Diagnose problem and repairs in the areas related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, exterior structures, and appliances.
- Prepare vacant units for new move-ins from a pre-move-out inspection punch list for maintenance repairs.
- Scheduling with contractors, vendors, and residents on property.
- Assists in maintaining the grounds, common area, and amenities by picking up trash, general cleaning, pressure washing, light landscaping and snow removal.
- Coordinate special projects as requested by Property Manager.
- Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools and other items from the property maintenance department. Maintaining inventory or materials needed for apartment turns and maintenance.
- Completed documentation and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in on on-call rotation with other to provide after-hours emergency coverage.
Experience and Requirements:
- Prior experience in residential and commercial preferred.
- High School diploma or GED required
- Vailed Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Clear drug screen - “A positive drug test of any kind will result in immediate denial.”
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear
- Regularly required to navigate and carry tools and equipment up and down stairs
- Frequently must squat, stoop, or kneel, reach above the head and forward.
- Daily use hand strength
- Climb ladders
