Job Summary:The Senior Technical Support Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting desktop-level technical issues, supporting hardware/software integration, and collaborating with project managers for system upgrades and destination moves. The role requires strong customer service, multitasking ability, and deep troubleshooting skills across PC hardware, software, and networking domains. The specialist ensures high system performance and user satisfaction through proactive maintenance, training, and documentation.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot user issues related to PC hardware, software, and networking
  • Resolve hardware break-fix problems and connectivity issues independently
  • Provide support for proprietary and third-party applications
  • Escalate and coordinate with subject matter experts for complex server or networking issues
  • Assist Project Managers in end-to-end process of hardware/software upgrades and destination moves
  • Conduct technology evaluations and develop integration requirements
  • Manage user acceptance testing (UAT), provide technical training, and support go-live
  • Evaluate system capacity, test software/hardware compatibility, and recommend enhancements
  • Place hardware/software into production environments and perform testing
  • Maintain system performance by testing and upgrading components
  • Create technical documentation and user operating instructions
  • Ensure confidentiality and maintain professional standards
