Doug Anderson Plumbing And Heating is looking for a Plumbing Apprentice Lead in Billerica, MA. This is a full-time job paying $24 – $30/hour. It's a great role for someone with a few years of plumbing experience who is ready to take on more responsibility, learn new skills, and prepare for a journeyman license.

You'll work full-time in Billerica, MA. Once trained and approved by a supervisor, you'll also take part in the company's on-call rotation. Sometimes extended hours or weekends will be needed.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR PLUMBING APPRENTICE LEAD
In this role, you will work with licensed plumbers while also doing more advanced tasks on your own. You'll help set up and break down job sites, make sure tools and materials are ready, and perform both rough and finish work. You'll also mentor junior apprentices and keep detailed records for your license progress. Each day, you'll use ServiceTitan to log hours, update job notes, and track materials. You'll work indoors and outdoors, often in different weather conditions and on active job sites, which may include tight spaces, uneven ground, noise, and dust. You'll also attend training sessions, meetings, and follow all safety rules on the job.
Here's what we need from you:
- Current Massachusetts apprentice registration
- 3+ years of plumbing apprenticeship experience
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Strong knowledge of tools, jobsite safety, and basic code compliance
- Demonstrated leadership potential and maturity
- Ability to mentor others and accept guidance
- Solid communication and organization skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a drive to advance in the trade
ServiceTitan experience preferred.
