We are seeking a detail-oriented SpEd Student Records Clerk to support special education services in a school setting. This contract position offers 24 hours per week with flexible scheduling options, continuing at least through the end of December. The role will primarily focus on data entry and maintaining accurate student records, contributing to the smooth operation of special education programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately entering and managing special education student records
- Scheduling meetings with parents and school staff
- Communicating effectively via phone and in person with parents, staff, and administration
- Utilizing software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google applications to compile and organize documentation
Desired experience and skills:
- Previous work experience in a school environment, preferably supporting special education
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in scheduling and coordinating meetings
- Comfortable using Word, Excel spreadsheets, and Google platforms for data management
- Effective phone etiquette and responsiveness
