A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IRRIGATION TECH
As an Irrigation Tech, your day begins at our central location in Derry, NH, where you will receive your daily assignments before heading out to various residential and commercial properties. Your primary responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems, encompassing sprinklers, valves, controllers, and piping. You will also troubleshoot and resolve system issues, adjust controllers to optimize water usage, and perform seasonal maintenance tasks such as winterizing systems. Accurate record-keeping of all work performed and materials used is essential to ensure efficiency and quality control. Without you, we couldn't give our customers the beautiful landscapes we're known for!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN IRRIGATION TECH
- A current DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one
- The physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as an Irrigation Technician or in a similar role
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in irrigation system installation and repair
WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position, with a work schedule from Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM.
