Your mission
Uptime, safety, and precision—own them. Help us keep critical production equipment running at its best while collaborating across teams to solve problems quickly and thoroughly.
Key responsibilities
- Lead with safety; adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively, share information, and work cross-functionally to resolve issues.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback with professionalism.
- Anticipate operational changes and respond to achieve team goals.
- Work independently with a results-driven mindset.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical machines and process equipment.
- Prioritize tasks based on business needs and production impact.
- Analyze site-wide technical problems and implement solutions.
- Demonstrate strong work ethic and self-direction.
- Continuously build new skills and adopt new technologies.
- Use computer systems for CMMS/work orders, documentation, and diagnostics.
- Operate forklifts and scissor lifts in a safe, compliant manner.
- Execute precision tasks: welding, pipe fitting, rigging, and lubrication.
- Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year technical/vocational degree strongly preferred.
- Preferred: 4+ years relevant experience (general mechanic, pipefitter, chemical manufacturing, refinery, etc.).
- Preferred: millwright and/or precision mechanic experience.
- General knowledge of basic electrical gear, motors, and controls.
- Desired: ability to read, write, and comprehend documents in English.
- PPE required: earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, and steel-toed shoes.
- Physical demands: ability to stand, climb stairs, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb for extended periods; lift/move up to 45 lbs.
