MEDSURG /PCU - NIGHTS

DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift

Schedule:

• Night shift position
• Every other weekend rotation required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the PCU, MedSurg, and Telemetry units
• Perform charge nurse duties and lead the team effectively when assigned
• Float to other hospital units as needed to support patient care
• Work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure safe and compassionate care that aligns with hospital standards and policies

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (Vermont or compact state eligibility)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Previous charge nurse experience is a plus
