Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Worcester, MA. This contract position offers 35 hours per week onsite, serving a caseload to be determined. The role involves providing specialized speech and language services to students across the K-12 range.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts SLP License required
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably within school settings
- Familiarity with speech therapy across diverse settings including healthcare and teletherapy is a plus
- SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or in progress
- Strong communication skills and ability to tailor interventions to student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Utilize teletherapy methods as needed to enhance service delivery
