Position Title: Locker Building Attendant

Position Reports to: Locker Building Manager

Employee Categories: Full Time

FLSA Category: Non-Exempt; Hourly Position

To provide service in all areas of the Locker Building to members and their guests. Complete the set up and cleanup of all areas pertaining to the Locker Building as well as any other tasks assigned by management. Enhance member and guest experience by following proper procedures and by exceeding member expectations. Be willing and able to communicate courteously and politely with members daily. Maintain a professional demeanor, work harmoniously with others, and strive to excel.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Properly greeting members and guests when in the Locker Building
  • Assisting cleaning inside the Locker Building and on the Locker Terrace
  • Knowledge of amenities offered and ability to direct members and guests to their locker
  • Ability to answer basic questions about TCC, the golf course and the Locker Building
  • Daily cleaning and shining of Men’s and Women’s golf shoes and dress shoes
  • Ability to use the POS system
  • Gathering and setting of daily functions: placing tables, chairs and setting to specifications noted on write-ups and assigned by manager
  • Completing close-out responsibilities, cleaning and re-stocking to be ready for the next day
  • Replenish coffee and tea and snacks
  • Assisting with the setup and breakdown of other events taking place in the Locker Building
  • Communicate courteously and politely with members
  • Additional duties/ projects as assigned by management

Required Skills:

  • Basic Food and Beverage knowledge
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, and perform the essential functions of the job
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Ability to speak English conversationally
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays as scheduled

Uniform Requirements:

  • White, clean, pressed, dress shirt (provided on first day)
  • Black slacks/pants (no denim, yoga pants, or casual materials)
  • If the slacks are tailored with a belt loop, please wear a black belt with simple buckle
  • Black socks
  • Black unadorned, clean/polished, comfortable work shoes

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to bend and reach for items off shelf, carry trays, and lift to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 to 10 hours
  • Use touch screen for POS system
