Salary: $20-$22/hour
Our client, a family owned and operated manufacturing company, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team!
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at problem-solving. While specific equipment experience isn't required, patience and a strong ability to tackle challenges are essential.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Can be flexible after training)
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
- Manufacture medical grade stainless steel tubing using machinery including draw blocks, draw benches and straighteners
- Set up straightener machines
- Set up centerless grinding machines
- Manage multiple machines and monitor the production runs
- Complete all required paperwork
- Measure (using micrometers), inspect and count product
Qualifications, Skills and Experience of the Machine Operator:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Dexterity/hand skills (must be ok with getting dirty)
- Basic familiarity with computers (scanning barcodes/look up records)
- Ability to problem solve
- Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
