Recruiting in progress for a professional Maintenance Supervisor of Multi-Family Housing for assets in Southern, New Hampshire. The ideal candidate is one who takes pride in their work and has a versatile skill set, able to see possibilities instead of problems and able to lead a large team with integrity· This leader demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents, coworkers, supervisors, and vendors with respect in addition to experience, common sense and effective deductive reasoning.

Here is an example of some of the skills that that are needed to be successful:

• Experience hiring, training, scheduling and managing staff
• Substantial experience creating and executing a preventative maintenance program
• Experience with creating RFP's, soliciting bids and overseeing capital improvement projects
• Manage recurring vendor contracts, obtaining bids, contract negotiations and preparation, and overseeing the satisfaction of the terms
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong preference for candidates with multi-family industry experience.
• Knowledge and experience repairing plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry wall, building exteriors, and appliances.
• Strong focus on customer/resident satisfaction.
• Work with Community Manager to create and successfully work within the parameters of a budget
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during maintenance emergencies.
• Responds sensitively to concerns/complaints about maintenance services and exhibits a sense of urgency to all tasks.
