Motorcycles of Manchester Inc. is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Counter Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about motorcycles and enjoys helping customers find the right parts, accessories, and gear while supporting our service department with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and purchasing motorcycle parts, accessories, and apparel
- Process parts sales, special orders, returns, and warranty items accurately
- Maintain familiarity with OEM and aftermarket parts catalogs and systems
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments
- Monitor inventory levels and help ensure proper stock availability
- Keep the parts department clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding order status and delivery timelines
- Work closely with the service and sales teams to support smooth daily operations
- Promote accessories and upgrades when appropriate to enhance the customer experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a motorcycle, powersports, automotive, or retail parts environment preferred
- Strong interest in motorcycles and powersports products
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Basic computer skills and experience with point-of-sale or inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a retail and warehouse environment
