Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available serving K-12 students within a public school setting in Florence, Massachusetts. This contract opportunity offers a school year (CSY) duration and requires onsite work to support the diverse needs of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grades
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support services
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
Qualifications:
- Hold valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Capacity to manage multiple cases effectively
