The selected candidate will be responsible for:
The Information Technology (IT) Specialist serves as a Help Desk technician, Site IT technician, and Network Engineer. This role operates within the IT Department, which is responsible for all IT support within the company. The IT Specialist will handle issues, requests, and projects directly—diagnosing, troubleshooting, and, if necessary, researching problems to ensure full resolution.
Additionally, the IT Specialist will manage network infrastructure maintenance and implementation projects as needed. Assigned projects may include tasks such as creating database query templates, coordinating with vendors to develop custom modifications for production software, and collaborating with manufacturing teams to design infrastructure solutions that support continuous improvement.
Other responsibilities include managing web hosting, administering domain and email accounts, and maintaining the telephone system. The role may also involve assisting other departments with administrative tasks as required. The IT Specialist must adhere to all company policies and procedures and be open to flexible working hours.
The selected candidate will also possess:
- PC setup and repair
- Microsoft office
- Troubleshooting and basic fault finding
- Must be able to perform with little or no supervision
