Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An early childhood general education teaching opportunity is available for a contracted long-term substitute position from November through April. This full-time role involves managing a caseload focused on early childhood education at an elementary early childhood center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver developmentally appropriate general education instruction to early childhood students
- Implement lesson plans in alignment with state standards and curriculum guidelines
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and collaboration
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff to promote student success
Qualifications:
- Certification in Early Childhood Education issued by the state of Massachusetts is required
- Experience teaching general education to young learners preferred
- Strong classroom management and munication skills
- Ability to work full-time with consistency and reliability for the contract period
