We are looking to add a BMW and/or Audi/VW automotive technician to our team!
You should have demonstrated experience as an auto technician with at least 2 years experience working on these specific vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.
Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
- Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
- Explain automotive repairs/issues to provide great customer service.
- Plan repair procedures using charts, repair manuals and experience.
- Test the functionality of parts and systems.
- Perform basic service tasks such as inspection services, periodic maintenances and multi-point inspections.
- Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
- Help keep repair shop clean and organized.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- *Experience involving the application of performance modifications and performance parts installation is a plus!!
Automotive Technician Requirements:
- 2 Years experience of working with BMW or Audi/VW vehicles. (required)
- Diagnostic skills! Ability to use the diagnostic equipment and tire service equipment.
- Understanding of vehicle specific automotive systems and chassis codes.
- Must have own tools.
- Computer skills including typing technician notes and using our shop management software.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Self motivation and works well with others.
- Automotive and engine repair experience or automotive training required.
- Hold a valid driver license.
- Must read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
- Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with heavy equipment
- Good hand-eye coordination.
