The Senior Production Planner will be responsible for developing and executing detailed production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders, optimal utilization of resources, and efficient workflow throughout the plant. This role requires strong experience in planning within a related manufacturing environment, a deep understanding of capacity constraints, and the ability to balance customer requirements with production capabilities. The Senior Production Planner will develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules for multiple injection molding machines and secondary operations, monitor material availability, machine capacity, and labor resources to ensure production targets are met, collaborate with operations, engineering, purchasing, and customer service to align schedules with business priorities, analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements, manage ERP/MRP systems for scheduling, forecasting, and reporting, track and communicate order status, potential delays, and recovery plans to stakeholders. The Senior planner will work closely with the Director of Master Scheduling and Plant Manager, and will lead the plants quarterly inventory. Requirements include minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing production planning, plus an Associates Degree, or a total of 12 years of experience. Leadership skills in in the use of MRP, Lean, Inventory Management, and strong Excel skills. Certification by APICS or ASCM.
