Currently seeking a Machine Operator for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Middleboro, MA.
Responsibilities of Machine Operator:
-Set-up and Operated manufacturing machines including brushing, lapping, rolling, drilling, and grinding machines
-Monitor machines making adjustments and stopping/starting the machines as needed
-Maintain fluid and lubricant levels
-Perform and submit in-process inspections
-Utilize measuring tools and gauges during quality checks ensuring specifications are consistently met
-Remove scrap metal from machines
-Report any equipment or tooling failures
-Maintain daily logs, documentation, and inspection reports
-Work in cleanroom environment when needed
-Perform other related tasks as assigned
Requirements of Machine Operator:
-Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
-3+ years Machine operation experience
-Past experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers and able to read fine graduations on micrometers
-Mechanically Inclined
-Gauge block and laser ZYGO experience preferred
-Able to lift and carry 40lbs regularly
-Superior attention to detail
-Knowledgeable of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing preferred
-Ability to read blueprints
Hours: 6:30am-3:00 pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
