Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate effective communication between Deaf or Hard of Hearing students and their teachers, peers, and staff.
- Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and school activities in American Sign Language (ASL) with accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate closely with educational staff to ensure all students have equal access to the curriculum.
- Attend meetings, extracurricular events, and other school functions as needed to provide interpreting services.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language, with certification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience interpreting in educational settings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Deaf culture and sensitivity to diverse student needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
