Role Overview:
As a Special Education Teacher, you'll be working with students who have learning disabilities, developing and delivering tailored lesson plans to meet their unique needs. Youll help students build academic skills, confidence, and independence in a nurturing, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with learning disabilities

Provide targeted, differentiated instruction in a range of subjects based on IEP goals

Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success

Track and assess student progress, making adjustments as needed

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued
Qualifications:

Valid New Hampshire Special Education Teaching License

Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field

Experience working with K-8 students with learning disabilities is preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
