Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Massachusetts requiring strong telemetry skills and a willingness to float.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes medical-surgical cases requiring telemetry monitoring
- Travelers must be willing to float to any Med/Surg unit as needed
- Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
- Scheduling prohibits block scheduling
- Holiday coverage requires working two holidays from the specified list
- Must provide comprehensive work history and an up-to-date skills checklist relevant to Med/Surg nursing
- A supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required
- No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered; all requests must be submitted prior to offer
- Will be required to work two major holidays from Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year periods including associated weekends
- First-time travelers are eligible for consideration

- Active and current MA RN license in hand
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
- Telemetry experience is required
- Successful completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course strongly required
- Certifications required at time of application: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
- Personal vehicle required for commute
- Permanent residence must be located at least 50 miles from the facility
